Installation of a Retractable Awning is very simple.
With your awning there will be a set of very detailed
step-by-step self installation instructions. Generally
installation follows this procedure:
Place the awning next to the designated wall.
Determine where to install the brackets. The
brackets will have to be spaced out properly as
determined by the wall studs.
All brackets must be in line and level in order
for the unit to fit freely in the brackets.
Set the awning into the brackets and lock in with
the T-Nut and bolt (supplied).
All awnings by Awnings.US are pre-adjusted at the
plant. If required, you can adjust the pitch after
installation

In addition to
your standard home improvement tools (e.g. Ladder(s),
Drill, Drill Bits, Extension Cords, etc.) the following
special tools are needed to adjust and mount the
awnings.
1/2" Socket/Ratchet for Brackets
1/2" Open End Wrench to attach the Hood (if
ordered)
17mm (metric) Socket for Slide Unit (to change
pitch)
13mm (metric) Socket for brackets
10mm Socket/Wrench for gear adjustment (if
necessary)
Allen wrench set

Important!Always check the limits when you are extending and retracting the
awning for the first time to make sure they are properly set.
All limits are set at the plant
